As We Grow

What a way to figure it all out!
What a way to know what life’s about!
At first you’re young and so naive
And you think age will fix it all
You eagerly wish to get mature
And dream of getting strong and tall
You see those grown-ups so carefree,
Waiting for months and years to roll,
And you become avid to be like them
To walk like them, not just crawl
The glamor of it ascends in your mind
And starts taking over your innocent soul
You get eager to change what you are
And begin to play an ‘’adult’s’’ role,
And you believe they’re happier,
Limitless
Careless
Flawless
Fearless
Able to bring down an iron wall
And then it happens!
And you’re all grown!
And all that eagerness will turn into pain
And with a sigh, you’ll hear yourself say
“I wish I’m a kid all over again!”

The Tree

i reached the sky first,
got over my fears, got over my thirst,
I'm the tree standing up there,
with no leaves, just standing bare,

i nourish from the past,
and aim out for the sky,
i chose my path,
don't ask me why,
i chose to be first,
i chose winning as a goal,
i left my leaves, my friends,
i even discarded my soul,
i wanted to win,
i wanted to reach the cloud,
i forgot my present,
and kept nourishing from the ground,
and i won!
but loneliness was all i found..

Saw

I woke up in a dark room,
Found a recorder in my hand,
I tried to get up but couldn't stand,
So I pressed play and it said:
“Hey mercury I want to play a game”
The fucking bastard even knew my name,
The voice said that I haven’t been really alive,
And this is a test to bring me back to life,
He said that I’d always lived with indifference,
Didn’t appreciate my simple existence,
He said that there’s a bomb right near my heart,
I should cut myself before it tears me apart,
And I have 3 minutes before I blow and pop,
And time starts when the clocks stop,
I sat there in bewilderment, then I smiled,
Maybe this idiot knows my name,
But he hadn’t known that I’d won his game,
I had killed my heart years ago,
Nothing more would happen if my organs blow,
I’d been dead from birth,
I’m still dead even as I breathe,
It’ll all get better,
As my body will lie in the ground beneath.

The Rise Of Peace

I'm here watching the rise of peace,
I'm here listening to the voice of earth,
now i understood what life means,
now i know all about death and birth,

we face bitterness,
so that we can cherish everything sweet,
we face cold,
so that we know the importance of heat,

we can never seek peace,
except after fighting a war,
life always offers us less,
so that we know the meaning of more,

we meet death,
in order to worship life ,
and death is crucial,
after we see pain and strife,

so i learned to listen to the wind,
and to read the pages of the holy skies,
to watch the true rise of peace,
because that's where the beauty lies,

i'm not afraid of the world anymore,
it's here so that we can grow,
it's all about Beaty,Truth,Love and Peace,
And that's all I want to know.
